Welcome to Kohara

Tena Koutou. Mrs Campbell and Mrs O'Sullivan are excited to welcome you to Kohara this year. We are looking forward to getting to know you all and helping you along on your learning journey. Some of you are familiar faces in Kohara, but others including Mrs O'Sullivan are brand new! Welcome - we hope you love being part of Kohara.

Here's a little bit about us...

Mrs Campbell

Good to have you all in Kohara for another year of fun, play and learning. It's exciting to have a new "wife" (Mrs O) and I'm looking forward to new experiences too. My grown up children will pop in from time to time because I don't like being on top of a ladder!! My other passion at school is basketball. So I hope I can convert some Kohara kids to a new sport.

Mrs O'Sullivan

Hi, I'm Mrs O'Sullivan although most of the children I teach call me Mrs O! I am married to Julian and have two boys - Will who is 9 and Jack who is 6. Some of you may know my boys as they are lucky enough to also go to Waimairi School. I also have a cat named Star and two chocolate Labradors called Poppy and Monty. I have taught juniors for almost 20 years and have been lucky enough to teach in Oamaru, Ashburton, Dunedin and Christchurch during this time. This year I am excited to be joining the teaching staff at Waimairi and am also looking forward to building our new house. What a great year it's going to be!
