Today Room 19 watched a video of a fireman saving a kitten from inside a house that had been on fire. We were quite worried about the kitten at the beginning but luckily it had a very happy ending. Here are the start of a few of our stories from today. We are hoping to add more ideas tomorrow.
I felt scared 'cos there was no oxygen. It was dangerous! Then the fireman saved the kitten. How he did it... He took the kitten outside and put a mask on the kitten. Then it could breath. Then it wiggled.

Once upon a time there was a house that had a fire and they put it out. There was a cat in the fire. It looked like it was frozen. The fireman brang it outside and gave the cat a breathing mask and put some water on the cloth and put it on the cat.

A fireman saves a kitten in a burnt house. The kitten was not breathing but the fireman helped it breathe again. He had to put water to cool it down and he put a mask on it. I felt happy because the kitten was alive and proud too. I think the fireman felt happy too!
